The challenge
Entrepreneur.com has long been a trusted resource for aspiring and seasoned entrepreneurs alike. However, to stay competitive in a fast-evolving digital landscape, the platform needed a complete redesign and redevelopment. The goal? To create an engaging, modern experience that retains traffic, enhances user loyalty, and drives customer acquisition. By introducing new products to the landscape such as video, podcast, and slideshow article pages, Entrepreneur.com transformed into a multimedia powerhouse for business insights and inspiration.

The redesign focused on creating a user-centric experience that prioritizes engagement, accessibility, and ease of navigation. Key updates included:

Boosting Engagement and Ad Revenue with the Slideshow Redesign
With the rapid growth of the internet and the rise of competitive platforms, Entrepreneur was facing a significant decline in traffic, losing millions of visits annually. For a platform reliant on advertising revenue, this posed a critical challenge. To address this, I redesigned the article pages to be more engaging and converted many into a slideshow format, allowing users to quickly skim through content. This not only improved user engagement but also increased the number of page views, driving a substantial boost in ad impressions and ultimately reversing the decline in advertising revenue.
My role
As the Creative Director I played a pivotal role in reshaping the platform to better serve its audience and achieve business goals. I led the creative vision, ensuring the redesign aligned with Entrepreneur’s brand while introducing modern, engaging features like video, podcast, and slideshow article pages.
In my role as Product Director, I strategically prioritized features that would maximize user engagement and increase ad revenue, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute the vision effectively.
As a UI/UX Designer, I crafted a intuitive and visually appealing interface's that improved navigation, personalized the user experience, and made the platform more accessible across devices. My holistic approach ensured a seamless blend of creativity, functionality, and strategic growth.
The redesigned Entrepreneur.com achieved remarkable results by creating a more engaging and user-friendly platform. User retention improved through personalized experiences, such as the Queue and interactive features like the video product, podcasts product, and slideshow articles. These changes not only enhanced the user experience but also drove a substantial boost in ad impressions, increasing advertising revenue. By combining modern design with innovative content strategies, Entrepreneur.com strengthened its position as a leading resource for entrepreneurs, fostering loyalty and long-term growth.
