The challenge
JunkBusters, a leading provider of junk removal services, faced significant challenges with its online presence. The original website struggled to engage visitors, provide clear information about services, or streamline the booking process. The lack of a user-friendly layout and navigation made it difficult for customers to schedule services, understand the offerings, or find important details like pricing and service areas. As a result, the company was missing opportunities to convert site visitors into loyal customers.
Additionally, the site didn’t reflect the professionalism and eco-friendly values of JunkBusters. With increasing competition, the website needed a modern redesign to improve user experience, enhance functionality, and better communicate the brand’s commitment to customer satisfaction and sustainability.

The redesigned JunkBusters website is a user-friendly, visually appealing platform designed to improve customer engagement and streamline the junk removal sales process. Key features of the redesign include:
Simplified Navigation
A clear menu structure with categorized services such as “Junk Removal” and “Additional Services” allows users to quickly find what they need.
Prominent Call-to-Actions
Bold buttons like “Schedule Your Pick-Up Now” and “Book Online” encourage immediate action.
Service Area Maps
An interactive map highlights the company’s coverage area, making it easy for users to see if their location is serviced.
Process Explanation
A step-by-step guide to the junk removal process helps users understand exactly what to expect, building trust and transparency.
Eco-Friendly Messaging
A dedicated section emphasizes the company’s commitment to recycling and responsible disposal, aligning with environmentally conscious customers.

My role
As the Creative Director and UI/UX Designer for this project, I was responsible for creating a customer-centric experience that combined functionality with aesthetic appeal. My contributions included:
User Research and Analysis
Conducted research to understand the target audience’s needs, pain points, and expectations.
Wireframing & Prototyping
Designed intuitive wireframes and interactive prototypes to map out user flows and test functionality.
Visual Design
Developed a modern, clean design that aligns with the JunkBusters brand, incorporating bold CTAs, clear typography, and professional imagery.

Ensured the team was fully equipped to attack each of the creative challenges with support and participation from leadership.
