The challenge
When Cadillac introduced the ATS, they needed a campaign that matched the car’s dynamic energy and luxury appeal. Additionally, this was a partner campaign with Travelocity and needed to embody the fun and playful brand voice of the Travelocity Gnome. I was part of a team tasked with creating a unique, engaging campaign that not only showcased the new ATS but also gave participants a chance to experience its performance firsthand.
The solution
The Cadillac “Test Drive” Campaign, an immersive experience that captured the thrill of driving the ATS while building a memorable connection with the brand.
The campaign centered around a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Participants were invited to submit entries for the chance to take the Cadillac ATS on an exhilarating test drive along the stunning California coast. The journey concluded with an exclusive celebration in Las Vegas, highlighting Cadillac’s flair for luxury and unforgettable moments.
Engaging Participation: Users entered the contest by submitting a creative essay and photo, fostering engagement and excitement.
Dynamic Journey: The campaign emphasized the ATS’s performance and sophistication through the scenic California coastal drive.
Luxurious Finale: The Las Vegas party added a high-energy, premium touch to the experience, reinforcing Cadillac’s luxury image.
My role
I designed the campaign’s overarching narrative, ensuring it aligned with Cadillac’s brand values of innovation, luxury, and excitement. From the entry process to the event details, every element reflected the spirit of the ATS.
To drive awareness and participation, I created visually compelling advertisements for to be integrated throughout Travelocity's platform. These designs were crafted to captivate Cadillac’s target audience and encourage participation.
The “Test Drive” Campaign successfully elevated the launch of the Cadillac ATS by creating a unique blend of adventure, luxury, and engagement. It:
